Gender & Cultural awareness
The program examines social and cultural understanding of gender concept.Through empowerment, capacity building, awareness and advocacy, we create learning opportunities for the youth and adults on the crucially important role a society and its culture plays in the construction and maintenance of gender norms & sexual practices.
Areas of focus
Gender, Sexuality & Cultures: examines the makings of masculinity, femininity and sexuality through typical representation of gender in a multicultural society. Sexual & Gender-Based Violence Prevention: focuses on primary prevention; in particular, changing social norms and behaviour through empowerment and intervention programs.
Why do it!
Gender has impact on nearly every aspect of life and plays a role in the most of today’s crucial discussions. Our interdisciplinary training courses prepare youth to examine complex constructions of gender throughout history & time as well as in different cultural context & social processes, so that they can contribute to the conversation.
To achieve what
The activities are gender-problem-oriented and focus on generating new ideas, methods and solutions towards gender diversity. Thus, the participants become familiar with the gender concept in non-formal education settings and tools to apply it through practice. Hence, they can develop social ventures to transfer and apply gained skills.
Youth Development and Empowerment
Every young person therefore deserves the opportunity to realize his or her full potential. Our programs are catalysts for change that help youth learn, work and lead. This program aims at enhancing skills development, critical awareness and creating opportunities for youths. We aim to mentor youth in becoming active and responsible members of our society through skills development and innovative approach to addressing the socioeconomic challenges. Further, we design capacity building and empowerment programs to support youth to demand better and sustainable services, and accountability from policy makers through advocacy, empowerment and awareness.
Main objectives of the project
- Widen the knowledge: Widen the knowledge; equipping with right skills and competences for job creation among youth.
- Foster creativity: Foster creativity, competitiveness, and sense of initiative toward self-employment through creation of small or micro enterprise.
- Exchange knowledge: Exchange knowledge, experience and good practices on entrepreneurship and share personal views and practices.
- Encourage youth participation: Encourage youth participation especially in starting their own business as entrepreneurs, with big dreams and realistic actions.
- Creating network: Creating network of young people and organizations, fostering mutual cooperation and future actions
Areas of focus
Social Entrepreneurship: it aims to equip youth with entrepreneurial skills to address the challenges of social,economic and environmental nature, and provide them resources for practice. Sustainability Leadership: aims to equip youth with leadership skills that guide them in scaling impacts of their social ventures towards growth and sustainability.

Youths are at the core of the development of our society; hence their empowerment is the key to peace, freedom, development, and human rights. Thus, we aim at building society where, no matter the circumstances young people can grow up to achieve anything they set their mind to; and promote a youth work, in which youth play a key role in shaping the policies affecting them.

Thus, participants become familiar with social entrepreneurial concept in non-formal education settings and apply it in practice; developing sustainable ventures to apply skills.
Environmental Sustainability
The program examines the social understanding of the sustainable development and endeavors to equip youth with an understanding of the current and future social, economic and environmental issues; developing an open mind on challenges to sustainable development and foundational knowledge, skills and attitudes within this field.
Areas of focus
Environmental Awareness: focus on challenges to social, economic, and environmental development; developing actions which lead to sustainable resolutions. Environmental Skills & Attitudes: focus on resolving environmental issues and enhancing youth’s knowledge, skills and capacities to improve and maintain environmental quality.
Why do it !
The environment is everything that’s around us. It has an impact on every aspect of our daily life and plays a central role in our existence. Youths are guided on how to weigh various sides of an issue through critical thinking and enhance their problem-solving & decision-making skills, to make informed & responsible decisions.

Thus, participants become familiar with social, economic & environmental development in non-formal education settings and the tool to apply it in practice. Further, develop ventures to transfer and apply skills.
Peace Building & Conflict Transformation
The program examines social, cultural and individual understanding of peace building process and improves youth perception on how to transform conflict without resorting to violence. Further, focuses on addressing challenges of violent conflicts, discrimination and youth knowledge gaps in the field of Peace & Conflict Transformation.
Areas of focus
Peace-building: focuses on activities aiming at promoting a culture of peace by reducing or ending violent conflicts and averting the outbreak of violence. Counter Violent Extremism: focus on generic prevention; create initiatives aiming at identifying youth influencing factors & behaviors, reduce risks & strengthen protective measures.
Why do it !
Wherever people with different interests, needs, culture, belief, etc. work and/or live together, there is always the potential for conflicts or differences. If not transformed, might escalate into violence. Our program prepares youth to adopting peace building methods involving activities that aim to reduce tension & prevent violence.

Thus, participants become familiar with peace-building activities through non-formal education and how to apply that in practice; developing sustainable ventures.

Our mentorship program is a social corporate network committed to quality through continuous development of individual leadership skills while fostering a disciplined and intellectual culture that bridges theory and practice to produce holistic graduates prepared for life purpose, service and leadership that spans the public, private and non-governmental sectors. We strive to serve as the industry link whereby University students can learn about what the industry is expecting from young upcoming professionals and a link through which the best practiced corporate disciplines are passed on to the students and future leaders by our corporate partners.
We have been able to implement this program in secondary schools across Kenya to prepare the students for life after secondary school both in how to manage university education and transition to the work environment. We also play a pivotal role in training student leadership.
Entrepreneurship Skills Development
The general objective of this Program is to provide participants with the fundamental principles of the key concepts, theories and practical skills needed to conceptualize, create and manage entrepreneurial ventures. The specific objectives are to equip the participants with the necessary entrepreneurial skills that will enable them: To conceptualize entrepreneurial venture creation; To gain an understanding of the enterprise environment and trends in enterprise management; To impart analytical skills needed to address a range of enterprise growth related problems, approaches and research in entrepreneurial ventures; To enhance competencies in creativity and innovation in entrepreneurial ventures.
